    It’s probably been a hot minute since you were last onboarded as an employee, but we’ve all got memories of what it felt like to start a new job.

    Maybe it’s just my own corporate trauma talking, but I clearly remember that first day’s mix of excitement and nerves quickly getting squashed by the endless training videos and mountains of paperwork that were passed off as my “onboarding” experience.

    What Many Businesses Are Missing In Employee Onboarding

    That’s because so many businesses miss the fact that paperwork and training are just pieces of the onboarding puzzle. They overlook that the whole experience of onboarding – at every single touchpoint – can dramatically influence a new hire’s performance and engagement.
