Lattice Hudson is an online business coach & mentor who specializes in helping women entrepreneurs scale their online coaching business to 6 figures and beyond with strategy, systems and leveraged evergreen offers.
Just like myself, Lattice also chose to leave a harmful corporate environment in September of 2018 to pursue other endeavors. Since leaving corporate, she has pursued entrepreneurship to its fullest by building her passion project, Lattice & Co., which has now turned into a multiple 6 figure business.
I was so excited to be featured on Lattice’s podcast, Elevate Your Online Business. We talked about the origin and mission of Paradigm, my love for HR (are you surprised?), the difference between hiring contractors and employees, how to know when it’s time to hire an employee instead of outsourcing a contractor, how to remain confident, and more!
One of the things I appreciate most about Lattice is her work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way. Lattice is also actively looking for ways to make business coaching more sustainable, and building a path for all women from different backgrounds and experiences to be successful entrepreneurs. After you listen to our episode, check out the rest of Lattice’s podcast episodes for genuine and raw conversations about the hard parts of entrepreneurship.
My whole goal is to help online business owners feel supported in their leadership and management journey. I want to bring some of that HR structure to the online space to allow CEOs to have more fun while they’re running their business so their policies can be their bad cop.

I had to go through that struggle of learning about online business by starting out in something that wasn’t 100% in alignment. Now I can really relate to my clients and what they’ve been through in getting to this point in their business where they need me.

If you’re not using that time you gain from outsourcing in order to work on the growth and direction of you’re moving into, then you’re kind of just throwing money away. It’s sort of like paying rent versus owning your own home. There is a time and a place for outsourcing.

The second you know that you can get help by hiring an employee, you are going to invite in more business for your company.

The fact that we can have women, especially in business positions, where we’re cultivating, developing, and creating relationships with our team is so symbiotic. Our team does so much for us at the same time that we’re doing something for them. It’s really rewarding, it’s truly the greatest thing about being a boss.

We have the responsibility to set the standard that online business is a great place to work. Our impact and reach is only going to expand and become more legitimate over time.

I thought my business was going to be really replicable and every client was going to want similar things, but the wants of every client has been so different, and that’s what I really love about it.

It isn’t about designing your business, it’s about designing your life.
